When does the free trial start? Will I be charged automatically?

Your 7-day free trial starts the moment you subscribe. Apple does not charge you during the trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it converts to the monthly subscription at the regular price. You can cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Tahajjud+ Premium.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Apple handles all subscriptions. Open iPhone Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Tahajjud+ Premium → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep access until the end of the paid period.

I cancelled but I'm still being charged.

Apple sometimes lags on reflecting cancellations. First confirm in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions that the subscription shows "Expires" rather than "Renews". If you were charged after canceling, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com — Apple typically approves these within 48h. We can't process refunds directly because we don't process the charge.

I bought premium but the app says I'm still free.

Open the paywall and tap "Already a member? Restore Purchases" at the bottom. This re-syncs your subscription status from Apple's servers. If still stuck, email us your Apple ID receipt number.

Prayer times look wrong for my city.

Open Settings → Prayer Times → check which Calculation Method is selected. Different scholarly schools use slightly different Fajr/Isha angles. Try switching to your local mosque's preferred method (ISNA for North America, Muslim World League for Europe, Umm al-Qura for the Gulf, etc.). Also verify location is enabled — Settings → Tahajjud+ → Location.

I'm not getting prayer notifications.

Three things to check: (1) iOS Settings → Notifications → Tahajjud+ → make sure notifications are on with "Time-Sensitive" enabled, (2) in the app, Settings → Notifications → enable the prayers you want, (3) make sure you're not in Do Not Disturb / Focus mode during prayer times. If still failing, restart the app — this re-schedules everything.

My Tahajjud streak disappeared.

Streaks survive one missed night per month thanks to our grace day system. If you miss two nights in a row, the streak resets. To preserve a streak you don't want to lose, log Tahajjud as soon as you wake — the app accepts a log up to a few hours after Fajr.

How do I download surahs for offline listening?

Premium feature. Quran tab → tap any surah → tap the cloud-download icon next to the play button. Downloaded surahs play instantly with no internet. Manage downloads in Settings → Storage.

Can I change reciter?

Yes — free for everyone. Settings → Quran Reciter → pick from Alafasy, Sudais, Abdul Basit, Maher Al-Mueaqly, or Husary. Switches mid-playback if you're listening.

My journal entries aren't syncing across my iPhone and iPad.

Cloud sync requires signing in on both devices with the same account (Apple Sign-In or Google). Go to Settings → Sync & Cloud → make sure you're signed in. If the issue persists, force a sync by opening any entry and saving it again.

How does the Dua Wall work? Is my identity shown?

Your dua text appears anonymously to other users. Your identity is never displayed. We store your account ID server-side only to prevent abuse (one publish per day, response to reports) but never show it. See the Privacy Policy for details.

I submitted a testimony — when will it appear?

All submissions are reviewed by a moderator before going live, usually within 24-48 hours. We check for accuracy, language, and respect. You're welcome to email us to follow up.

How do I delete my account and all my data?

Settings → Sync & Cloud → Delete My Account. This permanently removes all your Firestore data and signs you out. Local data on your phone is removed when you delete the app. To verify, email us — we'll confirm deletion within 30 days.

The Quran translation in my language has a typo / I don't agree with how a verse is rendered.

Translations are sourced from Tanzil (the digital standard used by Quran.com, Tarteel, Muslim Pro, and most major Quran apps). We don't author translations ourselves. If you find a clear typo, email us and we'll forward to the Tanzil maintainers. If you disagree with a translator's interpretation, switch to a different translation in the Quran reader's language picker.

Does Tahajjud+ work on Android?

Yes — the app is built for both iOS and Android. Some iOS-specific features (Apple Watch, Live Activities, Siri Shortcuts, Apple Health bedtime suggestions) are iOS-only. The core experience — prayer times, Quran, journal, tracker, Dua Wall — is identical on both platforms.

After 5 reports, content is automatically hidden pending moderator review. You can also email us with screenshots for faster response.
