1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading or using Tahajjud+ (the "App") you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. What Tahajjud+ does

Tahajjud+ is a religious practice companion for Muslims. It provides:

Prayer times based on your location
Qibla direction
Tahajjud (night prayer) tracker, journal, and reminders
The Quran in 27 translations with audio from 5 reciters
A community Dua Wall and shared testimonies
Optional cloud sync, optional premium subscription

The App is for personal spiritual use. It is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified scholar.

3. Subscriptions and free trial

Tahajjud+ offers an optional Tahajjud+ Premium subscription that unlocks additional features (journal, offline audio, custom playlists, premium themes, etc.).

Free trial: New subscribers receive 7 days free on the monthly plan. Cancel anytime during the trial — no charge if you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
Auto-renewal: After the trial, the subscription auto-renews monthly at the regular price unless canceled. Annual plan renews yearly.
Cancel: iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Tahajjud+ Premium → Cancel.
Refunds: Handled directly by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Religious content and accuracy

The Quran text used in the App is sourced from Tanzil, verified character-by-character against the printed Madinah Mushaf. Translations are by recognized scholars (see in-app "Sources & Methodology" for full attribution).

We make every effort to ensure accuracy. However, you remain responsible for verifying religious rulings, prayer times, and translations against authoritative sources. We are not liable for misunderstandings arising from translation choices.

5. Community content

When you post to the Dua Wall or submit a testimony, you agree:

Not to publish content that is profane, harmful, defamatory, sectarian-inflammatory, or impersonates others
That published content may be removed by moderators at any time
That repeated violations may result in account suspension
That you retain ownership of your own words, but grant us a non-exclusive license to display them within the App

6. Your account

If you sign in with Apple ID or Google, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Sync & Cloud → Delete My Account, or by emailing us.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is covered separately in our Privacy Policy. By using Tahajjud+ you also accept the Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or other users' data
Resell, redistribute, or commercialize the App or its content without written permission

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that prayer times will always be perfectly accurate (e.g. during DST transitions or in extreme latitudes).

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including missed prayers, missed notifications, or data loss.

11. Changes to the App and terms

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or the integrity of the App. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tahajjud+ is operated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
